Em: We’ve been selling less and less stamps lately. I wonder why we bother selling them at all. it’s not like we make any money off them.
Wade: I guess it’s just forthe sake of customer service. Some of us stillmail off our bills,and we need stamps. If they can comehere instead of the Post Office, maybe they’ll shop more.
Em: You’re right. The only reason most people buy stamps is to mail bills. That lady writing letters is a rarity.
Em: Do you write letters to anyone?
Wade: I’ve thought about it a few times,but I haven’t really found a reason to commit to a personal letter instead of just e-mail.
